The standout star on their menu is undoubtedly the steam flat noodle, known as Tua Pan. First-time visitors may also want to try the famous spicy steam noodle—though be warned, it carries a more pronounced soy sauce flavor that might not suit everyone’s palate. But if you're a seafood enthusiast, don’t miss out on the grilled fish options. While some reviews suggest experimenting with different fish varieties to find a richer flavor profile over the stingray, the crispy squid is a highlight, cooked to perfection and ideal for those looking to complement their meals with a tasty side.
What truly sets G.Tiang apart is its extraordinary value. Diners rave about the generous portions that won’t break the bank, making it easy to indulge in multiple dishes without guilt. “ First time visited this restaurant. Had their recommended signature dishes steamed Kuey Teow with Fish and deep fried Tofu. They were tasty and yummy. Reasonably priced too. Highly recommended to dropby if ever at this neighborhood of Bedong. ”
“ Five stars for the food and price! Came with a full tummy to try the famous steam rice noodle. Wow it was really good! Smooth dua pan (the steamed rice noodle) with clean tasting broth, fried fish pieces on top is good too and very fresh. The spicy steam noodle is nice too but a little heavy on soy sauce taste. Will definitely revisit when I’m around this area. Price is very very reasonable. ”
“ Was recommended to try their steamed fish hor fun and it did not disappoint. Preferred the rice version however as it was more flavorful. On the sides we had the grilled fish, deep fried tofu and squid. The squid was cooked to perfection although the individual cut size felt a bit small. Would recommend to try out other fishes though instead of the stingray for the grilled fish as the taste of the fish itself was a bit lacking as it was on the pricier side. Deep fried tofu tasted great ”
“ After visiting Gunung Jerai and the Durian orchard at Singkir, we came here at 5pm. The Steam Flat Noodle (Hokkien: Tua Pan) was very good. We ordered 2 types of deep fried tofu and we enjoyed them very much. 2 pax of Tua Pan, 2 types of tofu, 1 vege, 4 drinks came to about RM 45. Reasonable price! ”
“ A pretty famous Chinese restaurant among the locals. Signature item is the steam wide noodle, deep fried tofu, grill fish. Price is very reasonable. Environment is so so, crew is friendly. ”
